Kouji walks into Pia Carrot to chase a cute girl, immediately hates the one coworker who matters, and spends six episodes discovering that antagonism and attraction were never actually different things. The show doesn't pretend the setup is anything but a vehicle for watching two people who can't stand each other realize they're exactly what the other one needed. It's lightweight enough to never overstay its welcome, smart enough to earn the shift from hostility to genuine feeling, and honest enough to know that sometimes the best relationships start with someone making you furious.

Kouji wants a part-time job, and after spotting a cute girl in a Pia Carrot uniform, he sets out to get hired there. On the way he accidentally runs into a girl named Azusa, and a misunderstanding leaves the two of them hating each other. Then Kouji discovers that Azusa has also been hired at Pia Carrot, so he has to face her every day. As time goes on, he starts to realize that hate may not be the right word for what he feels. The OVA runs six episodes and mixes comedy with romance.
