Terrorists seize Double C, a huge transatlantic cruiser packed with wealthy and powerful figures from the world of international business. Rescuing the hostages falls to a Japanese man called Japa, who must first recruit seven companions. Together they become the Wild Seven, and most of the story unfolds on the waters of the Nicaragua canal. Based on work by Mikiya Mochizuki, this 13-episode TV action adventure centers on the team's hostage rescue.
