A man with nothing left to wish for meets an angel who exists only to grant wishes. Kohaku's softness against Shuichiro's emptiness is the entire story, told through animation that moves like watercolor and a score that knows exactly when to let silence speak. CLAMP distilled into five minutes: magic isn't loud, it's the moment someone decides you're worth staying for.

Wish is a short, fully animated music video for CLAMP's manga of the same name, the third of four such videos alongside Clover and CLAMP in Wonderland. The manga centers on Shuichiro Kudo, a 28-year-old doctor who comes across Kohaku, an angel. After he unintentionally rescues her from a servant of the devil, she offers him a wish in thanks. Shuichiro turns out to have nothing to wish for, so Kohaku pledges to stay by his side until he does. Along the way, both learn that some wishes cannot be fulfilled alone. The result blends fantasy and romance.
