Ichitarou Takahashi is reassigned to be the main anchor of a nightly news program called World Fool News. Anchoring the evening news would usually be a big break, but this show is known for poor ratings and an odd staff. Once he settles into the department, he learns that his new coworkers are every bit as strange as people said. The short-format comedy finds its laughs in the silly goings-on at the broadcasting station, and as Takahashi keeps working with this eccentric crew, he begins to sense that he may have found somewhere he truly fits in.
