Zhen Ji always says exactly what he thinks, and that habit gets him fired from his previous job. He goes to interview at Sunshine Cafe, which sits downstairs in a residential neighborhood. There he meets his new crew: a bald, slightly eccentric boss, a bespectacled coworker who treats money like his whole life, a burly colleague who is simple-minded yet kind and friendly, and Azalea, who holds grudges fiercely. A few special customers pass through as well. Together they grow and share everyday stories of laughter, tears, and warmth, making for a gentle comedy about coworkers and customers finding happiness in daily life.
