A mysterious duelist named Paradox arrives from the future with a sinister plan: erase Duel Monsters from existence by murdering its creator, Maximillion Pegasus, before the game is ever made. His weapon is a collection of corrupted monsters stolen from across time itself. When Paradox strikes during a Turbo Duel, he seizes Yusei Fudo's Stardust Dragon and turns it into a dark Sin Monster. Aided by the Crimson Dragon, Yusei chases him through a time slip into the past, where Paradox is overpowering Jaden Yuki with stolen cards like Cyber End Dragon and Rainbow Dragon. After rescuing Jaden, Yusei learns what Paradox intends, and the pair follow him further back to meet Yugi Mutou. Together the three duelists face Paradox in a three-on-one duel to free the captured monsters and save time itself.
