The ordinary parts matter as much as the fighting. A girl wakes up, goes to school, laughs with friends, then transforms to save the world, then wakes up again tomorrow and does it all the same, and the show makes you feel the weight of that routine like a stone in your chest. By the time you understand what the Brave Hero Club actually costs, the damage is already real, and there's no magic that undoes it.
In the year 300 of the era of the gods, Yuna Yuki is a second-year middle school student who goes to class, does club activities and spends time with her friends. She also belongs to the Hero Club, which helps others and puts on shows for children. When mysterious destructive beings called Vertexes start threatening the world, a strange phone app calls on the club to fight. Yuna, her best friend Mimori Togo and the sisters Fu and Itsuki Inubozaki transform into magical girls to battle them. Between studying and club work, they fight for the survival of their world and come to face hard truths about their own powers. The series mixes action and fantasy with drama, psychological weight and slice of life school days.
