This is a show about the exact moment before your life changes, when you're stuck in neutral with four strangers who feel the same way. Nobody's going anywhere yet. The apartment complex becomes a small world where studying for exams matters less than the quiet routines you fall into together, the terrible cooking experiments, the nights when someone's anxiety spills over and the rest just sit with it. It moves at the speed of real time, which means it's sometimes boring, sometimes heartbreaking, always honest about what it costs to want something and have to wait.

Aida Yurume is eighteen, a ronin and recent high school graduate who has come to Tokyo hoping to get into Tokyo University. She moves into Maison du Wish, an apartment complex on the city's outskirts where other ronin are studying for their upcoming college entrance exams. Then she discovers that the building has only ever housed ronin, and that none of its residents has ever passed the entrance exams, which does not look good for her own chances. Adapted from Saxyun's 4-koma manga, the show is a short-format slice-of-life comedy.
