SYNOPSIS
A private detective named Hazuma stumbles onto a case involving stolen cybernetics and rogue street gangs hopped up on experimental implants. His investigation pulls him into the underworld of illegal human augmentation, where cutting-edge technology transforms addicts into unpredictable weapons. When Hazuma is killed pursuing the truth, Professor Tani makes a controversial decision: resurrect him as the new 8 Man, the city's legendary cyborg protector. Now Hazuma exists in constant conflict. By day he maintains his detective cover, playing the jaded gumshoe who cracks cases and questions authority. By night he transforms into an android hero bound by cold logic and programming.
