Leon walks into cases where artificial humans malfunction and kill. In 2027 MegaTokyo, androids called Boomers are still a fairly new technology, and fitting them into society has gone badly, at times with deadly results. The Advanced Police exist to handle crimes involving them. After a violent encounter with a Boomer, Leon McNichol joins the force as a rookie and is partnered with veteran officer Gina Marceau. Together they face a rising wave of violent cases that grow more tangled over time, raising hard questions about where humanity ends and the machine begins. The story is a three-episode sci-fi horror thriller set six years before the Knight Sabers appear.
