A girl working her father's restaurant meets a rock singer, and suddenly every ordinary moment becomes electric. Yaeko "Yakko" Mitamura is an 18-year-old girl in Osaka who works at her father's okonomiyaki restaurant. One day she happens to meet Hashizo, a little boy who lost both his parents as a baby, and his odd cat Juliano. Hashizo was raised by his older brother Go Kato, lead singer of the rising rock band Bee Hive. When Yakko meets Go and his friend Satomi Okawa, another member of the band, a string of unexpected events sets a tangled romance in motion. Adapted from Tada Kaoru's manga, the series mixes comedy, music and love, with jealousy and rock and roll close behind as the band's young stars begin to shine.
