The Blasters are alien invaders who conquer, devour and destroy one civilized world after another across the galaxy, and now they have turned toward Earth. Humanity has a secret answer: Astroganger, a towering super robot built from mysterious living metal of alien origin, developed by Dr. Hoshi and the International Science Police Headquarters. There's just one problem. The robot is not very bright. Dr. Hoshi's solution is his ten-year-old son Kantaro, who uses a pendant to beam himself inside the giant machine. Fused together, boy and robot combine flying, fighting strength with a child's quick thinking, and they take on the Blasters to defend the planet in this 1970s mecha action adventure.
