Baja lives inside an animation studio where the staff dote on him, and each day he and his best friend Ga-chan find plenty of ways to have fun. While Kanako, who serves as lead director at the studio, is busy with an especially stressful project, she wishes she could get away to the sea. Her wish leaves Baja curious about what the sea is like and whether magic could let him and Ga-chan see it for themselves. The one-episode fantasy adventure OVA from 2019 was included on a Blu-ray that Kyoto Animation offered to fans who pre-ordered tickets to its fan event, with a separate retail release planned later.
