Nobody talks about this one. Four girls who genuinely love motorcycles, not as metaphor or character arc but as pure joy, they ride, they break down engines, they argue about displacement and torque like it matters because to them it actually does. The OVA doesn't interrupt that with a plot; it lives inside those moments where someone who rides recognizes themselves, where the specificity of gear talk and the particular frustration of a carb that won't cooperate becomes the entire point. If you've ever loved something useless and loud enough to spend your Saturday fixing it, Bakuon knows exactly what that feels like.

Bakuon!! is a two-episode OVA from 2016, a slice of life story with a sports side. The episodes came bundled with the seventh and ninth volumes of the Bakuon!! manga. They work as a bonus for readers of the manga, offering short everyday episodes with a sporting touch rather than a full standalone series.
