A cat in a banana peel is already a premise that works, but this show finds the joke underneath: what if those creatures had their own world, their own logic, their own dreams about us. The comedy comes from watching Bananyas operate on completely different rules than you expect, treating banana physics like law and Earth like an alien planet in reverse. It's a comfort show that doesn't insult your intelligence, even when it's doing something as simple as showing you how a Bananya spends a Tuesday.

Out in the universe, a strange species has appeared on a distant little planet: small creatures known as Bananyas. The short episodes show their everyday lives on their home world, which are full of small adventures and new discoveries, and they raise the question of what might happen if these creatures started dreaming of someday reaching Earth. The tone is a light, fantastical slice-of-life comedy told in brief bites.
