Watching 35 girls coordinate a single thank-you party is watching the show understand what its actual game is: community. Every band member gets a moment that feels earned, not forced. The new song lands because you've spent two hours watching them sweat the small stuff, booth decoration, setlist order, whether everyone remembered to eat. It's a love letter to the people who stuck around.

The fifth anniversary of the mobile rhythm game BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! gets a two-episode special built around a celebration of its own. The event is CiRCLE THANKS PARTY!, held to thank the fans who have backed the bands ever since the days of the live house CiRCLE. All thirty-five girls rush to get ready for a program of food stands and live performances. Along the way, Kasumi and the others decide to play a new song together at the live show. The special is a music-focused slice-of-life story centered on the preparations for one big fan event.
