On Planet Abel, humans and robots live side by side. Apollo is a robot who looks human, and Mikaru is a human who looks like a robot. When a mysterious stowaway on a transport ship tries to invade the planet, the two of them discover him. He is carrying a memory chip loaded with Cipher, a secretive OS built as advanced camouflage software. Apollo takes the chip just for fun and soon begins behaving strangely, while Mikaru cannot work out what is wrong or that Cipher is the cause. To learn what Cipher is and what secrets it holds, the pair must solve a mystery that reaches across past, present and future. The sci-fi adventure film was made to mark Yokohama City's 150th anniversary, using rotoscoped live actors combined with 2D and 3D effects.
