Tsurugi Tatewaki's story as a Sword Brave carries on in this 21-episode 2013 TV continuation of Battle Spirits: Sword Eyes. In the earlier series, Tsurugi grew up in the rocky land of Pacifis without knowing his true origins, found the Shining Sword, and was trained in Battle Spirits combat by Bringer, a Card Battle Droid assigned to protect him, while an army of darkness hunted the twelve Sword Braves. The new run picks up from there as an action adventure set in a fantasy world.
