This is the Bleach cast finally allowed to be weird without saving the world hanging over their heads. Every captain and lieutenant gets a moment where their actual personality breaks through the stoic armor, and the show knows exactly how absurd these people are when there's no Espada to fight. It's a palate cleanser that only works if you already love these characters enough to laugh at them instead of with them.

A single-episode comedy OVA from 2008, bringing a handful of chapters from Colourful Bleach to the screen as animation. The special was bundled as part of the TV Animation BLEACH 5th Anniversary Box, making it a light comedic extra for the Bleach franchise rather than a standalone release.
