SYNOPSIS
Yuji Kaido wakes from two decades of cryogenic sleep to a world fundamentally transformed. Earth no longer belongs to humanity. Massive insectoid creatures called the Blue have overrun the planet, forcing the remnants of mankind to abandon their home and scatter across orbital stations and ships. No one knows where these things came from or how to stop them, only that they arrived sometime before 2031 and claimed dominion over everything. Yanked into a war he doesn't understand, Yuji discovers that his awakening is no accident. Something about him matters to humanity's last hope for survival, and the pressure to become the soldier the species desperately needs weighs heavy. The Blue continue their relentless expansion, indifferent to human resistance. Between the terror of an alien threat and the burden of being humanity's final card, Yuji must confront both monstrous horrors and the fragile politics of a species clinging to existence in the void above their dead world.
