The Knight Sabers feel like a real team here, finally comfortable enough with each other that the banter stings and lands. Every character gets something to do that matters, and the mystery pulls you through all three episodes without filler or waste. It wraps what Crisis started without pretending to be bigger than it is, just better.

The Knight Sabers return in a three-episode science fiction mecha OVA. A run of robberies and murders, along with Boomers that have begun to malfunction, draws the group into an investigation to learn who or what is responsible. The incidents appear to be tied to the development of an advanced artificial intelligence. At the same time, the team itself may be on the verge of splitting up, and that possibility hangs over the case as they dig for answers.
