Rio carries the entire show. She's competent enough to lead, flawed enough to be funny, human enough that you actually care when the plot gets serious. The comedy doesn't stop the action, it lives inside it, and the cast feels like people you'd want to spend time with across a full series. This is the kind of anime that either clicks immediately or doesn't click at all, and if it does, you'll rewatch the early episodes just to hear the banter.
