A high school kid dropped into a fantasy world doesn't get a training montage or a chosen one speech. He gets confusion, bad translations, and the slow realization that he's nobody special in a place that doesn't care. The humor lands because the show treats its own weirdness as mundane, letting the comedy breathe in the gaps between plot beats. What emerges is something closer to a fever dream than an adventure story, where the real challenge isn't defeating the villain but understanding why any of this matters to him at all.
Ordinary high schooler Taku Shimamura's routine life shatters when he's yanked into Slaffleaze, a world ruled by intelligent creatures under the iron fist of the tyrant Zolba. The dictator's ambitions extend beyond his own realm. He's preparing to open a path from Slaffleaze to Earth, intent on invading what he calls Capricorn, the planet Taku calls home. Stranded and desperate, Taku joins forces with the planet's downtrodden populations. To have any shot at stopping Zolba's invasion plans, he needs the help of the Yappie, ancient guardian beings who once protected Slaffleaze. There's just one problem: only one Yappie remains, and she's a cute young girl who also happens to be a dragon. Taku must earn her love and trust before Zolba's forces open the way to an unsuspecting Earth. Action and heart collide in this high-stakes adventure that refuses to take itself too seriously.
