The wish already came true, and now the show asks if that changes who you are. Akina gets his sister back healthy, then immediately has to fight six strangers who want the same impossible thing he already got. Cardfight isn't about winning anymore. It's about whether you deserve to keep what you've won when someone else is desperate enough to take it from you.

Akina's victory in the Fated Clash granted his wish for his sister Hikari's health, but the story of the cards is far from over. Gabwelius, who brought together the holders of the Fated One cards, reveals what was really behind the Fated Clash. Meanwhile a second plush toy, Sybilt, appears and gathers the six holders of Destined One cards. Sybilt then declares the start of the Destined Showdown, in which the winner will have a wish granted. What follows is a clash of Fate against Destiny, with competing motives and intentions colliding in an action fantasy card battle series.
