Aichi stops trying to be the chosen one and starts trying to be someone worth choosing. The show gets smaller on purpose, trading tournament brackets for the actual cost of believing in something when nobody else does yet. By the end you're not watching a card game anime, you're watching a kid convince his entire world that his dream matters, one friend at a time.

Aichi Sendou starts high school with a new challenge: showing that Cardfighting can be a future people believe in. Apart from most of his longtime friends, he enrolls at Miyaji Academy, a prestigious private school focused on academics, sports and planning ahead, where classmates brush off his favorite game as childish. To make his case, Aichi plays a new deck that unites Royal Paladins and Gold Paladins into one force. Facing the student council's firm resistance, he sets out to found a cardfight club that gives fellow players a place on campus. Gathering old friends and new ones through Cardfighting, Aichi and his teammates push for official recognition of the club and aim to win the newly created high school cardfighting championships.
