Mayu is a cat god who lost her rank and powers and was banished from Takamagahara to Earth for illegal gambling. She now lives with a girl named Yuzu in Yaoyorozudou, an antique shop. When Yuzu proposes a day of cherry blossom viewing, Gonta, still smitten with her, promises to find the finest spot. Finding an empty place on a fine Sunday is hard, but Shirasaki Hasumi recalls a blooming cherry tree in the yard of an abandoned hospital.
