Chiya arrives in Meiro-cho with a secret. The town is home to female diviners, and girls from all over the country come hoping to become Urara, the finest diviner of all. Chiya, a wild girl raised among animals in the mountains, wants that title too, but she also hopes divination will reveal where her long-lost mother is. As she starts life as an apprentice, she befriends three other trainees: the studious, earnest Kon, Koume with her love of Western culture and dreams of witchcraft, and the shy Nono. Together they set out on the path of the urara in this comedic fantasy slice of life.
