Hikari Kokura is starting her first year at Chidori High School and chose it for its shooting club, only to find that the club has been shut down. She has just one day to find enough members to restart it. She manages to bring in three first-year girls she knows from a middle school competition: Izumi Shibusawa, a friend since childhood; Erika Meinohama, who is half Russian; and the reserved Yukio Igarashi. In these competitions, rifles fire beams of light rather than live rounds. From there the comedy follows the day-to-day life of the restored club, whose members aim to reach the national stage. The series is a light slice-of-life sports story adapted from a 4-koma manga by Salmi Akki.
