You watch five girls in school uniforms learning to handle airsoft guns, and somewhere around episode three you realize the show has already made you care about whether Yura gets comfortable holding a rifle. The comedy lands because it treats airsoft like an actual sport, not a joke. By the finale you're invested in their tournament run the same way you'd watch a real volleyball team, except everyone's laughing and the stakes are just high enough to matter.

Yura Yamato is a shy freshman at Stella Women's Academy who struggles to make friends. Her absent roommate turns out to own a huge stash of military gear and films, and after Yura is caught acting out a scene from an action movie, she is pulled into a practice match held by C³, the school's airsoft club. Though her side loses, the thrill of the game grabs her. Her roommate, third-year Sonora Kashima, then reveals she is the club's president and invites Yura to join. The club also includes second-years Karila Hatsuse and Honoka Mutsu, plus fellow newcomers Rento Kirishima, whose family runs a sweets shop, and the tiny Yachiyo Hinata. As Yura learns what the name C³ stands for, command, control and communication, she finds a hidden side of herself, but her growing devotion to the game begins to take over her life.
