A ten-minute reprieve where nothing catastrophic happens and a kitten just gets to be a kitten. The comedy lives in the smallest moments: Chi's head-tilt, the way she investigates a cardboard box like it's a conspiracy, the family's collective exhaustion watching her do something ridiculous at 3 AM. This is what comfort television actually means, no plot twists, no stakes, just a warm room and a cat that has no idea how much her chaos matters to the people around her.

Father picks up a new collar for Chi, but getting the size right proves harder than he expects. Chi soon loses patience with all the fussing and wanders off to the park. Near the fountain she runs into Kocchi, who sees the spot as his own turf and wants her gone. Chi has no idea she is intruding and just wants a new playmate. The result is a short comedy OVA of about ten minutes, packaged with the special edition of the seventh manga volume.
