SYNOPSIS
Renji works the graveyard shift at a Tokyo game centre when Lily, a British exchange student, rolls up on Valentine's Day and becomes obsessed with winning a crane game. After watching her fail spectacularly for hours, Renji can't resist stepping in to help. She finally walks out with her prize, and Renji thinks that's the end of it. Then his phone buzzes: a message from Lily declaring him her valentine. What unfolds is a comedy of miscommunication and cultural collision. Lily interprets every interaction through the lens of her foreign perspective, while Renji scrambles to clarify that he didn't mean to court her. Their awkward dynamic kicks off an unlikely friendship built on misunderstandings that somehow keep working in their favor.
