Nine experimental cyborgs, eight men and one woman, have been gathered by Black Ghost, a terrorist organization led by the villainous Skull. When Dr. Isaac Gilmore, the group's own cybernetics scientist, defects, he helps the nine break free of Black Ghost's control and turn against it. What starts as an escape becomes a war. Black Ghost plans to ignite the next world war by flooding the market with weapons of mass destruction, and it sends more and more cyborgs after its first nine creations, causing destruction around the world. Expect action-driven sci-fi with plenty of mecha battles. The final three episodes adapt the GOD'S WAR OVA, which is not part of the main continuity.
