SYNOPSIS
Joe Shimamura and his fellow cyborgs have finally hung up their weapons. Years of protecting humanity have ended with the formation of UN Guardian troops, leaving the enhanced nine free to pursue something resembling normal lives. But peace doesn't last long. An American journalist named Lucie Davenport arrives in Texas chasing a dangerous story: the Bresudo, an ancient organization of superhuman beings who have secretly shaped human civilization for millennia. Most dismiss them as conspiracy theory. Lucie knows better. When she tracks down the cyborgs seeking their help, she drags them back into a conflict they thought was finished. The Bresudo's true intentions remain shrouded in mystery, yet their influence spreads across the globe like poison. Joe and his teammates must decide whether to stay retired or answer the call one more time. What begins as a simple investigation transforms into something far larger, forcing the cyborgs to confront enemies they never knew existed and question everything they've fought for.
