You want the real reason to watch this OVA? It finally lets Sakura and Noe off the leash without the main cast's chaos suffocating the scene. The comedy lands because it's just these characters being themselves in weird situations, no plot machinery grinding underneath. For fans who've been waiting for the show to remember its supporting cast exists, this is the payoff.

Sakura Mizukami turns up at the Kazama home one evening needing a favor, and Kenji and his sister Noe soon find themselves reluctantly entered in a footrace at the local shrine. The prize is spring water that appears only once a year, and Sakura wants the siblings to secure her win. When her clubmates Chitose and Roka join the race with their own reasons for wanting the water, the contest turns into a chaotic free-for-all. Noe, tired of Sakura's teasing, has no wish to help her, so the team is split as well. This single comedy OVA came packaged with the ninth special-edition volume of the D-Frag! manga and adapts the Shrine Water arc.
