The Digital World doesn't just have new problems, it's been completely rewritten under occupation, and every kingdom Taiki has to liberate was someone's entire world before the Bagra Army broke it. The stakes hit different when you've already lost a world once and now you're watching it get dismantled piece by piece in front of you. This is a show built for people who stayed, not people discovering Digimon for the first time.

Taiki returns to the Digital World with his partner Shoutmon and finds it greatly changed. The Bagra Army has seized control and restructured the realm into seven separate kingdoms, and a general rules over each one. The TV series runs 24 episodes and blends action, adventure, comedy, fantasy and science fiction as the pair face this reshaped world.
