Broly wakes up furious, sees a kid who looks like Goku, and the entire movie becomes two children learning they're strong enough to stop a monster their fathers couldn't. The Family Kamehameha isn't just a technique, it's the moment these kids realize they're not waiting for adults anymore. The early dialogue stumbles hard, but once Broly is hunting them through the wasteland, the movie abandons its comedy problems entirely for something cleaner: two scared boys figuring out they're warriors.

Beaten by Goku, Broly crashes onto earth and falls into a long hibernation there. After some time passes, Trunks and Goten wake him. Broly takes one of them for Kakarott and launches a rampage aimed at killing them both. Meanwhile, Gohan is heading out by himself to challenge the Legendary Super Saiyan. The 1994 movie mixes action and adventure with a science fiction backdrop.
