Frieza returns from the dead, brought back with the Dragon Balls in an original story separate from the manga and TV anime. Stronger than before, he overwhelms Goku with his attacks and leaves him cornered, and only with the backing of Vegeta and his other allies does Goku stand a chance. The short special was made for the Universal Studios Japan theme park, where it ran in the summer of 2016. It pairs 360-degree 3D CG animation with 4D effects, so audiences feel shocks and splashes timed to the fight on screen.
