A child detective and a vampire butler cracking a kidnapping ring in 1987 OVA fever dream logic. The show doesn't explain itself, doesn't care if you're lost, just drops you into a noir mystery that operates by dream rules instead of plot rules. You're watching something made for people who wanted their mystery dark and strange enough that realism would only get in the way.
Atsuko Fukune, a club dancer, is targeted by a strange group of men who try to kidnap her. She turns for help to Mamiya Mugen, a famous detective who is also a child. When it emerges that other girls have gone missing as well, Mamiya and his butler Alucard set out to get to the bottom of the mystery. This single OVA episode mixes fantasy and horror with a detective story.
