A woman who enters your dreams to fight the monsters living there, except she's not saving you from nightmares, she's saving you from something real that hunts in the dark between sleep and waking. The 1985 OVA doesn't waste time explaining the rules; it drops you into a case and trusts you to understand the threat as Rem understands it. Horror and supernatural detective work fused into something that feels like witnessing a secret war nobody else knows exists, all of it happening behind closed eyelids.

Rem Ayanokouji looks far younger than she is, yet she works as a private investigator. What sets her apart is an unusual ability: she can enter the dreams of other people. Inside that dream state she serves as a kind of guardian angel, shielding sleepers from the evil powers that dwell in the spirit realm. This single-episode OVA mixes action, horror, mystery and supernatural elements, and it contains explicit adult content.
