The swimsuit episode you didn't expect to want actually delivers on the promise of a perfect epilogue. Every character gets a moment that lands, the rhythm between slapstick and genuine weirdness hasn't gotten lazy, the soundtrack still slaps. By the time Kraken shows up for what should be the final battle, you realize this wasn't a cash-grab OVA, it was the show respecting its own comedy enough to give it one more victory lap.

Jashin-chan was thought to be drifting through space, but she is back on Earth in this bonus twelfth episode, and she still wants to kill Yurine Hanazono so she can return to Hell. Her murder plans are shelved when Yurine hauls her off to the beach with their friends, including Medusa, Pekola, Minos, Yusa, Koji and Peru-chan. Instead of plotting, Jashin-chan spends the day swimming in the sea, eating shaved ice, battling a Kraken and joining a barbecue. The extra episode was streamed only on Amazon Prime Video and was also bundled with the second Blu-ray and DVD volume, offering more supernatural slice-of-life comedy in a summer swimsuit setting.
