The card game duels hit like playground tournaments where every kid thinks they've figured out the unbeatable deck, then someone's older sibling shows up with an actual strategy. Kirifuda and his crew aren't saving the world, they're just trying to prove themselves against new rivals who actually push back. The series knows exactly what it is: a show about the specific rush of winning a duel you weren't sure you could take.

Katsuta Kirifuda returns to school for another stretch of dueling, with his companions Bucyake and Yohdel at his side. As the school season goes on, the three meet new classmates, among them Leo, who become fresh opponents to duel. The eighth Duel Masters series is a short-format TV run that mixes action and adventure with plenty of comedy.
