The swim team is falling apart and nobody's fixing it, they're just living it, which somehow makes you care more than any plot about saving the club ever could. Their doubts about the future test their love for swimming. Then Sousuke Yamazaki, a scouted swimmer and old friend of Rin's, arrives in town to attend Samezuka, and his presence strains things between him, Rin, and Haruka. The show mixes slice-of-life comedy with sports drama as the friends weigh the choices ahead of them.
