SYNOPSIS
A hardcore BL manga fan wakes up in a fantasy world where he's somehow become the object of obsession for every attractive warrior, knight, and nobleman around him. The catch: they all believe he's destined to be their romantic partner, and they're aggressively competing for his affection in ways that range from absurdly over-the-top to genuinely dangerous. Season seven finds our protagonist deeper in the chaos. New characters arrive with increasingly ridiculous claims to his heart, old romantic rivals escalate their schemes, and the fantasy kingdom's politics somehow revolve entirely around his relationship status. He's still desperately trying to escape, still narrating his situation like he's reading from his favorite manga, and still completely bewildered by how literally everyone treats romance like a life-or-death battle. If you enjoy comedy that mines humor from a fish-out-of-water scenario where the water itself is aggressively in love with you, where absurdist humor never lets up, and where the protagonist's internal monologues are half the entertainment, this delivers exactly what the franchise has been building toward.
