The second OVA flips everything you thought you knew about these characters without breaking what makes them work. Satania gets a moment that lands harder than anything in the TV series, and the show earns it by staying quiet when it matters. The first one is basically skippable, but the second proves Gabriel DropOut had more heart buried under the jokes than anyone expected.

Gabriel DropOut gets two bonus OVA episodes, released in 2017 as extras bundled with the Blu-ray and DVD release of the series. As comedy with a supernatural bent, these specials offer fans of the main show a little more time with its cast. Just supernatural comedy in its purest, most indulgent form.
