Several months after the Ginza Incident, tensions between Japan's defense force and the Empire rise in the Special Region as peace talks drag on, with hostages from the first attack used as leverage. Lieutenant Youji Itami and his group of female admirers are caught up in the tangled politics of the imperial court. Princess Piña Co Lada tries to persuade her father that the JSDF has no plan to conquer his kingdom. Meanwhile, world powers grow greedy and curious as word spreads of the realm's technological limits. This second half of the action fantasy adapts the Fire Dragon Arc, and with pressure mounting on both sides of the Gate, Itami must weigh more drastic steps to complete his mission.
