The Dinosaur Empire doesn't negotiate or posture; it destroys your city and leaves you scrambling to save the person it just hurt. Getter Robo forms not for glory but because Megazaus is still moving underground and your friend is bleeding out. This is what the original super robot genre felt like before it got mythologized: pure survival instinct wrapped in mechanical fury, no philosophy required.

Earthquakes are shaking Japan, and Professor Saotome is convinced the Dinosaur Empire is behind them. Michiru heads out in the Command Module to investigate but is quickly shot down and hurt, and the attacker turns out to be Megazaus. The Getter Robo team wants to avenge her, but first the pilots must cross roads torn apart by the quakes to find a doctor for her. Once Getter Robo is assembled, they have to follow Megazaus underground and beat him before he levels the cities of Japan. The film is a mecha action adventure with a science fiction setting.
