A short special based on the mobile game God Eater Resonant Ops, which carries on from God Eater 2 Rage Burst, itself a sequel to God Eater Burst. Episode 00 of God Eater Reso Nantoka Gekijou uses the characters' first day of school to introduce them. The game relocates the action to Fenrir Headquarters in 2078. The short first screened at the God Eater 8th Anniversary event in March 2018, and Bandai Namco Entertainment later posted it on YouTube.
