The cosmic roommate drama keeps getting funnier because the stakes never actually matter, a god's ancient grudge becomes background noise when someone hasn't paid rent. Su Moting's stuck in the middle of immortal bickering and monster logistics, which means every episode is just three people learning to live together without the apartment burning down, literally. By season three, you're not watching a supernatural comedy anymore; you're watching three stubborn roommates who would die for each other pretend they barely tolerate sharing a kitchen.

The third season of Hanhua Riji brings back Su Moting, a young working woman saddled with the status of being a child of both a god and a demon. Her parents push her out of the house, claiming she needs to learn to stand on her own. She then crosses paths with two other fallen beings: Tianjixing, a silly but good-looking minor god, and Dikui, a composed and enigmatic cat demon. With the Earth God guiding them, the three become a savior team, and their everyday lives turn out to be both very funny and at times painful. The season runs 12 episodes and mixes comedy, slice of life and the supernatural.
