The story of Golden Kamuy continues here, picking up after the fifth and final season and blending action, adventure and comedy. Its subtitle names it the runaway train arc. Across the earlier seasons, Saichi Sugimoto and Asirpa race rival groups, among them Toshizou Hijikata's crew and First Lieutenant Tokushirou Tsurumi, for the lost Ainu gold, a hunt tied to coded tattoos on the skins of dangerous former prisoners.
