Shuichi's creative block isn't about finding the right words, it's about losing the person those words were always meant for. The show takes the most vulnerable moment a songwriter can have and doesn't let you hide from it. Two episodes to watch a man fall apart over someone who won't look at him, and somehow that becomes the whole reason to care.

Shuichi Shindo pours his heart into Bad Luck's lyrics, but his world falls apart when Yuki, the person he loves most, goes cold on him. As album deadlines pile up and his songwriting dries to nothing, Shuichi spirals, unable to focus on anything except winning Yuki back. His band desperately needs new material, yet their lead vocalist can barely function. Making matters worse, Shuichi's recent boasts to the press about his own talent mean the band cannot simply hire someone else to write for them. Unless he breaks out of his slump soon, Bad Luck could be finished for good. The two episodes mix comedy, music and romance, pairing a romantic crisis with band drama.
